Liar Liar.. You are a thriller

Why do we lie? Well, I could define a lie in many ways or as what I read you could categorize liars as perpetual, habitual, occasional, professional and so on..We all lie and someone who says I don't is a big crook. To me, anything that's not an occasional lie is unreasonable. Unreasonable because its intension is to either satisfy your ego or hide something that you don't want others to know about. The later is sometimes true with occasional liars. To whom you lie is something to consider as a secondary factor.

If I think I can get away with a lie without being mindful of others, I could be lacking a thoughtful judgement. Hardly would you find a fool who takes every nonsense. The fool could turn out to be a bird of the same flock. I have known couple of acquaintances (I rather not call them friends) of mine who have been so habitually lying to me that I start to feel like an object being hammered with lies. Psychologically, these liars are so much used to lying that I think, they are widely deviated from the truth and the lie becomes a reality of their life.

On the other hand I agree too much personal intrusion sometimes would give nothing but lies. But these habitual liars don't need to be intervened. They start their topics on their own and try to reflect an exaggerated self, use others (including the so called dearest) to cover themselves and spread false rumors. There is no fear or stammering involved.

Everything has a purpose. Let the lie serve its purpose rather than letting it serve you.
